A client aimed to launch an eBike insurance company, capitalising on the growing popularity of eBikes. Their vision was to provide a tailored and competitive insurance solution for eBike owners, establishing a standout brand in the competitive market. They aspired to create a dynamic and modern brand that could engage their target audience online and offline, seeking recognition as an approachable choice in the eBike insurance landscape. The overarching project goal was to develop a compelling brand strategy resonating with eco-conscious cyclists who are searching reliable and approachable insurance.

The creation of the brand name "Electric Pedal" and the tagline "Supercharged eBike Insurance Specialists" set the tone for a commanding identity. I devised a strategy that positioned Electric Pedal as not just an insurance provider but as an eBike insurance specialist. Brand values - Genuine, Professional, Reliable, Approachable, Supercharged, and Forward-thinking were designed to communicate trust and innovation. The logo, a fusion of modern typography and an icon representing energy and motion, captured the essence of the brand. To ensure consistency, I developed comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring a unified brand approach across all touch points both online and offline. A strategic campaign was launched to introduce Electric Pedal to the market, through a mix of digital and traditional channels - strong photography featuring eBikes in action added a compelling and bold feel to the brand. A website was designed with a user-centric approach, allowing visitors to intuitively obtain insurance quotes, manage policies, and explore services. A seamless user experience was crucial, reflecting Electric Pedal's commitment to providing a smooth and hassle-free insurance experience. Recognising the need for convenience, a mobile app was developed, which allowed users to access their accounts, make policy changes, submit claims, and contact the Electric Pedal team with ease. The app reinforced the brand's commitment to being approachable and straightforward, meeting the evolving needs of modern consumers. Electric Pedal quickly gained traction in the market, becoming a competitive eBike insurer in the UK. The tailored insurance solutions addressed the diverse needs of eBike enthusiasts, solidifying Electric Pedal's reputation as a genuine and reliable insurance provider.
